Peace in Uncertain times

I could have called this blog, “Peace in times of conflict”. When in conflict we are in uncertainty. For many of us that scares us. We feel safe with the known, and less safe with the unknown

A wise master once said “My peace I give to you . My peace I leave with you. Let not your hearts be troubled or afraid.”

Uncertainty can cause us to feel anxious or afraid of what the future may bring.

If we go to our centre, to our inner being, here we can find a place where the outer world can’t touch. It is safe, secure, and at peace because it simply knows that ultimately all is well even when outward appearances appear not to be well. It becomes a helpful practice when we are anxious or afraid, and easier if we have already practiced it before we become afraid.

We can’t control events or others. We can control ourselves. The kindest way we can do this is to hold a place of peace inside ourself and allow no one to touch it. Keep that peace close to your centre. In doing so you not only calm yourself, you calm those around you.

It is time. It is your time and our time to be at peace. When we hold the frequency of peace inside we become a tuning fork, bringing the environment around us to a place of peace too. Intend peace, and all is peace.

Envisage it wherever you can, and as far and wide as you, and as often as you can. Rest into your vision for peace and inhabit it fully.

This is a choice we are free to choose whoever we are, wherever we are.
