Class background
Meditation classes are offered as a series of six classes. They offer an introduction to meditation for those who have never mediated before, or for those who wish to refresh their practice, by developing an attitude of awareness alongside others.
The classes are not based on a particular religious practice. They introduce you to a range of practices so that you can discover the practice that best suits you.
Why attend this class
Meditation offers us physical relaxation and release from everyday tension.
It provides a path for developing awarenss, which can be a key that unlocks blockages to emotional freedom. Through stillness we access a peace that is ever availabble to us.
By opening the heart, it helps us become aware of a deeper connection to life and Spirit.
